An introduction to Big Data, its promises, ethical issues, and myths will be discussed. On conclusion, a didactic proposal for the use of Big Data in Science Teaching, making use of public, free tools that allow for an innovative way of 'doing science', will be presented. This talk is aimed for Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics college teachers, graduate student teachers, and university teachers.
